Company Overview
The UC Berkeley Ethnic Studies Library, formally established in 1997 with roots in the 1969 movement for Third World Studies, is the departmental library of the UC Berkeley Department of Ethnic Studies. The mission of the library is to preserve and share knowledge related to Ethnic Studies and social justice and consists of four rich collections: Native American Studies, Comparative Ethnic Studies, Chicano Studies, and Asian American Studies. With archival, special, and circulating collections, the library holds a diverse kinds of historical materials on paper, audiovisual, and digital formats.
